About The Pro
Erik is an accomplished teacher and player who has worked at several noted
country clubs, including Austin Country Club, where he studied the Harvey
Penick approach to golf. His style of teaching takes into account the
abilities and differences in each student. Emphasis is placed on the core
muscle groups of the body to build a consistent repeatable swing.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
· Seven years experience teaching golf.
· Teaching Pro at Scottish Highlands G.C.
· Second season as Head Teaching Pro at Johnny 9 Irons
· Studied the mechanics of golf at Austin Country Club
· Also at the Academy of Golf Dynamics
· Provides Individualized Instruction
· Allows students to grow at their own pace
PRICE OF LESSONS:
Video Equipment or Simulators will be used when available
· $75.00 per one hour lesson
· $225.00 for a series of 4 one hour lessons (buy 3 get on free)
· $750.00 for 15 one hour lessons (Season Lesson Plan)
Golf Principles
Full Swings – Lessons will cover how the golf
swing mechanics are based in the initial setup, ball position, and alignment.
Learn how to control the distance and consistency of your full swing.
Short Game – Through the understanding of club
control, mechanics, and set up learn how to shave strokes off your game.
Learn the difference between pitching, chipping, and the lob and when
to use them.
Specialty Shots – Sometimes it is necessary to
manipulate the swing to hit specialty shots when you have no other option.
Learn how to get out of trouble and back into play.
Putting – Learn how to putt like the pros. No
longer will you dread the 3 to 8 foot putt.
